Meet Julie O, founder of Kairos

Whether you are looking for a coach for you, development for your team, or are interested in creating positive change in your company culture, here are some notes about my approach and what it’s like to work with me.

I focus on nurturing connections with my clients, to ensure you feel acknowledged, valued, and supported. I also believe in the value of straight talk; we will get to the heart of the matter and what may be holding you back.

Leveraging Experience in the Field

My background is rooted in the corporate realm, including diverse experience in both large and small companies. Over the past 30+ years, I’ve been a consultant and coach both internally and externally, with leaders on all levels – with individual team members to executive leaders in the C-suite, as well as with small business owners and non-profit organizations. This has given me a good sense of what people in all levels are experiencing. In response, I have developed key strategies to help them navigate through the myriad of challenges they may face.

Working with top leaders and being a part of their teams has helped me truly understand the impacts workplace culture can have on a company. I’ve guided groups to create constructive cultures out of teams that were struggling, and helped to improve their existing cultures. 

As an organization development leader and executive coach, I deliver innovative solutions to address each company’s needs. This can be cultivating employees’ talents, aligning people’s initiatives with business and industry drivers, connecting strategic goals with creative solutions, and supporting cultural values.

After working at two Fortune 500 companies and being mentored by outstanding leaders, I sought out professional training to deepen my perspective and solidify my experiential knowledge in the fields of OD and Coaching. I earned my master’s degree in Organization Development (MSOD) from Pepperdine University and a coaching certification from the esteemed Hudson Institute of Coaching. These were significant milestones for me that underscored the importance of a growth mindset, the commitment to which is essential in developing quality culture. 

When we work together, I apply decades of knowledge, experience, and personal brilliance in creative and innovative ways to help you and your teams become even more effective.
